A SHOPPING event in aid of a cancer charity saw crowds pack into Berrow Village Hall.
The Christmas-themed Shop for a Cure event beat the total of its first event held in April and raised around £700 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Somerset.
Organiser Holly MacBeth said: “Thank you so much to all those who supported Shop for a Cure for Christmas, from the stall holders, the people who came and to all those who donated in any way.
“We are so very grateful and we are pleased to announce we surpassed April's total of £400.”
