Wedmore ale fest 'busiest ever'
ORGANISERS of the Wedmore Real Ale Festival said this year’s event was the busiest ever – bagging £14,000 for good causes.
Representatives from 21 benefactors picked up cheques ranging from £100 to £1,750 at a presentation night on Saturday at The George Hotel, Wedmore.
Benefactors included Blackford village hall, Children's Hospice South West and more.
