Patient survey on stroke treatment in Somerset
PATIENTS in Somerset are being asked to have their say on how stroke victims in the county are treated in hospital.
NHS bosses want to hear from those affected by stroke on what priorities should be.
Dr Matthew Dolman, an Axbridge GP and member of the Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Stroke is the leading cause of severe adult disability in the UK. People who have had a stroke will go on to have a vast array of practical and emotional needs.”
