Candidates announced for by-election
THE NAMES of people nominated for the Highbridge and Burnham Marine Ward by-election have been announced.
The candidates for the by election for Sedgemoor District Council are: Helen Groves (Lib Dem), Bill Hancock (Con), Ricky Holcombe (Lab), Purple Watkins (Ind) and Sally Williams (Ind).
The election will take place between 7am and 10pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
