FORMER Sedgemoor student and Hollywood actress Juno Temple (above) has been shortlisted for the BAFTA Rising Star award.

The 23-year-old, who attended Enmore School, is one of five young stars nominated for the title after a memorable 2012 on the screen.

Juno appeared alongside a star-studded cast in the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, playing Holly Robinson, the accomplice of Anne Hathaway's character.

She has already starred in several high-profile films, including Atonement, alongside Keira Knightley, Notes on a Scandal alongside Cate Blanchett and Dame Judi Dench, and The Other Boleyn Girl, which stars Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.

Speaking at the nominations launch at BAFTA headquarters, Juno said: "I'm so honoured to be up there with this extraordinary young talent - people I'm inspired by and people whose films I go and see."

Ms Temple will learn her fate on February 10 in London.
