POLICE want to trace this man, whose car was discovered in Somerset this afternoon (January 13), in connection with the discovery of a woman's body.
The body was found at an address in Melksham, Wiltshire this morning.
Wiltshire police believe Richard Gordon Newton, 51, from the Bowerhill area of Melksham, may have "vital information" about this incident.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: "It is thought that Mr Newton was driving a blue Volkswagen Polo registration number S487 CKN this morning from his home address in Melksham to the Williton area of Somerset.
"Avon and Somerset police officers located this vehicle unattended at Brendon Common, Exmoor shortly before 12.30pm this afternoon.
"Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Mr Newton or who may have any information on this incident is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111 where information can be left anonymously."
