Evidence was placed around King Alfred School in Highbridge so students could solve the mystery of who ‘kidnapped’ their head teacher, Andrew Owen. Photo: submitted.
“WHO Kidnapped Mr Owen?” was the question Year 7 pupils from King Alfred School in Highbridge had to answer during their challenge day.
To solve the mystery, students had to rely on their learning skills and teamwork to find head teacher, Andrew Owen.
They put together a detective squad, practiced note taking and interviewing witnesses and evaluated a range of evidence.
Amy Godwin, learning and teaching co-ordinator, said: “They used their creative thinking skills to come up with a theory and finally presented their conclusion to the group.
“Students were able to solve the crime and found Mr Owen safe and well in a classroom. Well done Year 7!”
