Burnham and Highbridge voters off to the polls
VOTERS in the Burnham and Highbridge Marine ward are going to the polls today (January 24) to elect a new district councillor following the resignation of Liberal Democrat Joe Leach.
The candidates are Helen Groves (Lib Dem), Bill Hancock (Con), Ricky Holcombe (Lab), Purple Watkins (Ind) and Sally Williams (Ind).
Polling begins at 7am and stations will remain open until 10pm.
