SEDGEMOOR householders can apply for free energy assessments worth £175, thanks to a national scheme.
The initiative, ‘Our Green Deal’, can include new heating systems, wall or loft insulation, secondary glazing and draught-proofing.
Repayments are made through the householder’s energy bills.
