SEDGEMOOR councillors have given two more supermarkets the nod.

Tesco has won permission for an Extra store in Bridgwater, creating 260 jobs, while a Sainsbury’s supermarket has been approved in Cheddar, creating 100 posts.

Tesco’s scheme will include seven other shop units on land where the Sedgemoor Splash swimming pool used to be.
