TWO teenagers were left in intensive care and a further four needed hospital treatment after taking drugs at a house in Somerset.

Police were called to Northload Street in Glastonbury on Saturday morning after reports the six had taken drugs and needed help.

The teenagers, who are all 18, are thought to have taken a derivative of ecstasy.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class B drugs and released on bail.

An ambulance service spokesman said the patients were in "various levels of consciousness". Three were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, in Taunton, and three were taken to Yeovil District Hospital.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "Using and supplying illegal drugs is a criminal offence which can lead to a criminal record."
