Pride of Somerset Youth Awards presented tonight Pride of Somerset Youth Awards presented tonight

PARALYMPIC medallist Debbie Criddle will present certificates and prizes at the sixth Pride of Somerset Youth Awards tonight (March 8).

The equestrian star, who won two bronze medals and a team gold at London 2012, is the guest of honour at the presentation ceremony at Somerset College in Taunton.

Young people from across Somerset are among those to be honoured in the award programme, which is run by the publisher of this website, BBC Somerset and Taunton Rotary Club.

BBC Somerset’s Emma Britton will host the ceremony.

The awards are sponsored by Avon and Somerset Police, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and Somerset County Cricket Club and museum.
