Don't miss our fabulous Apprenticeship and Training event in Taunton
THERE’s a chance to find out about the very best apprenticeship and training opportunities available in Somerset at an event in Taunton next week.
The free event will be held at Somerset County Cricket Club from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 12.
It is sponsored by Somerset Skills & Learning and Somerset College, and run in conjunction with Newsquest Somerset, publishers of the Somerset County Gazette, Bridgwater Mercury, Burnham & Highbridge Weekly News and Chard & Ilminster News.
The event is perfect for all school and college leavers who may be unsure as to the next step to take in launching their career.
Apprenticeships are a chance to earn while you learn, and gain recognised qualifications, and are proving an increasingly popular option.
Among the employers and training groups already confirmed for the March event are: Somerset Skills & Learning; Somerset College; Bridgwater College; Richard Huish College; Construction Skills; Hair Academy; Didac; PGL Training; Weston College; Train 4 All; Metaltech; Strode College; Acacia Training; CMT Services; and Yeovil College.
Newsquest Somerset recruitment executive Sharron Kington said: “We are delighted to be involved in such a prestigious event with a great line-up of employers.
“We know there are lots of great opportunities for apprentices in Somerset, and hope this event can put some of those considering their next step in contact with the employers who can help them decide what comes next.
“We look forward to seeing lots of people seeking a new career at the event at Somerset County Cricket Club on March 12.”
