THE cold weather snap which has left Somerset shivering is expected to last until Thursday, forecasters say.
Temperatures again fell below freezing on Monday evening and are not expected to climb above 4C on Tuesday.
Thermometers will drop to -2C on Tuesday night and only reach 5C on Wednesday before a fourth night of below-freezing conditions.
On Thursday temperatures are predicted to reach 7C with an overnight low of 3C for Thursday evening.

The icy spell is likely to remain in the county until Thursday, with overnight temperatures again forecast to be below freezing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
