Call for cash to improve Somerset's rail network
A REPORT urging the Governmentto increase funding in Somerset’s rail network has been prepared by the county council and its neighbouring county councils in Devon and Cornwall.
It sets out an ‘urgent need’ for added investment across the whole South-West to improve resilience after the recent heavy flooding and to meetthe demands of ever-growing passenger numbers.
