KING Alfred School is taking over the Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham on Thursday to showcase its students’ art work. 

The free exhibition will be open to the public from 1pm to 3pm, then from 6pm to 9pm. 

On Friday and Saturday the exhibition opens from 10am to 3pm then from 6pm to 9pm.

There will be a range of fine and contemporary art, incluing painting, printmaking and sculpture, video, photography and installation.

Some work will be for sale and commissions will be taken for bespoke portraits. 

A King Alfred student will also be showcasing his creative clothing designs.

Head of art, Louise Amato, said: “This year’s exhibition will showcase work by students from years ten to 13 in the professional setting of the Princess Theatre and Arts Centre. 

“They have kindly supported our students, showcasing the talent and creativity of our young artists.”
