BURNHAM and Highbridge MP Tessa Munt has backed a campaign led by the Archdeacon Emeritus of Bath and Wells to make the Government’s fit-for-work test fair for people with mental illness.
The ‘I Agree With Dick’ campaign, led by Archdeacon Dick Acworth, in partnership with national charity Rethink Mental Illness, is calling on the Government to stop using its fit-for-work benefits test to judge whether people with mental illness should receive benefits, until it is improved.
