Flu jab warning to Somerset diabetics
NOT enough people in Somerset with diabetes are taking up the offer a free flu vaccine, a charity has claimed.
Diabetes UK says lives are being put at risk because a third of people under 65 with the condition do not get immunised.
People with diabetes are almost six times more likely to die from flu then someone their age who does not have the condition.
