A CHRISTMAS fayre has helped to raise more than £600 for a cancer charity.
Crowds of shoppers crammed into Berrow Village Hall for Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s ‘Shop for a Cure’ event.
Stall holders displayed cakes, chocolate, handmade jewellery, cards and much more.
A charity raffle, tombola and face painting also helped to raise £654 for the charity.
Tickets are now on sale for Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s Christmas ball.
The ball will be held at The Batch Country hotel, Lympsham, and will have a Cinderella theme.
Tickets are £40 each and include a drink on arrival, an amazing three course meal, charity auction and raffle – plus entertainment from the brilliant Riverbrew band.
There will also be a disco and casino.
