STUDENTS from The King Alfred School in Highbridge who designed a brand new drink product have reached the South West Regional Finals of a prestigious national competition.

The group of Year Nine business students will be competing in the regional final of the Real Business Challenge, a competition run by Coca Cola Enterprises.

The finals are in February at @Bristol and the students will be working alongside business mentors from Coca-Cola Enterprises on a live business project to be announced on the day.

The team, named Frio, comprise Sajia Ahmed, Chloe Cuthbert, Sian Fisher (pictured right), Georgia Hancock, Abi Sealey (pictured left) and Katie Watts.

The design brief informed students that Coca Cola would like them to come up with a new healthy drink, made out of fruit and/or vegetables, as this is a type of product that the Coca Cola group do not currently provide.

Frio was judged as the group who had come up with the best idea, and their drink design was submitted to Coca Cola for consideration for the regional finals.
