HUGH Sexey Middle School has a potential future Olympian with Matt after he won the boys under 13 Somerset County Archery Junior Indoor Championships.
Matt, who belongs to the Gordono Valley Archers in Wraxall, achieved the second highest score in the entire competition with 468.
Three-time Great Britain Olympian Larry Godfrey met Matt when Larry presented him with a shield after winning a club competition in November.
Matt’s mum said that she was very proud of his achievements and that he would like to one day achieve Olympic status.
