Martix Cox says he's met so many interesting people as mayor
MAYOR Martin Cox said he was “overwhelmed” by the warm welcome he received for his first year as mayor.
The new mayor of Burnham and Highbridge was elected last May and in his Christmas statement said he has enjoyed his time as mayor.
Cllr Cox said: “Being your mayor for the last 6 months has been a tremendous.”
“I have had the pleasure of meeting so many interesting people and attending a wide range of functions and events since last May.”
