Community Council for Somerset appoints new deputy chief executive

THE Community Council for Somerset (CCS) has appointed Jenny Bridle as its new Deputy Chief Executive.

Jenny, who has held senior management roles in investment banking and corporate finance, took the position vacated by Karen White who had worked for the organisation for 15 years before moving onto a new career.

CCS support action in local communities across Somerset and Jenny said she’s eager to start her new role.

Jenny said: “I’m delighted to be joining CCS and promoting the importance of rural communities and the valuable contribution they make to Somerset.”

CCS Chief Executive Katherine Armstrong said: “She brings a wealth of experience in finances and management and has a clear passion for Somerset’s communities having been a Parish council Chair in the past. I very much look forward to working with Jenny to continue and develop the work we are doing”
