THE first weekly surgery launched by the council to help deliver information to flood victims saw around 100 people attend.

The meeting held by Sedgemoor District Council last Thursday (February 13) saw representatives from various agencies including the police and emergency services give up to date information to residents.

The surgeries will continue for the next four Wednesdays; February 19 and 26 and March 5 and 12, at the Canalside, Huntworth, Bridgwater, from 6pm and 8pm.

If people can’t find the answers they need at one of the meetings, they may be able to arrange for a relevant representative to attend the following meeting.
