AMERICAN-BORN soprano Mary Morgan is the guest performer at Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society’s forthcoming spring concert.
Tickets are now on sale for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm on Saturday May 10 at St John’s Church in Highbridge.
As a soloist, Mary Morgan has accrued an impressive CV of work, from performing for conductors Sir Neville Marriner and Brian Kay, with Amici and Orchestra West, on tour in Spain, and a charity concert for 'Care for Casualties' in Taunton.
May’s concert will feature songs from Westside Story, part two of Handel’s Messiah and his four coronation anthems, along with music from a range of other composers.
Tickets cost £7.50, and can be bought from members, Grandma’s Attic, Victoria St. (in cash only) or on the door.
