Glastonbury Abbey reopens at last after historic conservation work

A MÉLANGE of medieval-themed events are coming up at Glastonbury Abbey to celebrate its grand re-opening after painstaking conservation work.
On Friday June 13 a Medieval Food Conference, featuring six top speakers on the subject, takes over, with tickets on sale now at www.glastonburyabbey.com
A free, historically-themed event takes place on Saturday June 14, with a Medieval Food Fair.
While over the Easter period the Glastonbury Medieval Fayre is at the Abbey over Saturday April 19 and Sunday 20, with jousting, archery, and other activities, to raise money for the Rescue Our Ruins Appeal. Entry will be £9 for adults, £24.50 for families, £5 for children and Abbey members.
