VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help out at an East Huntspill wildlife charity.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue employs many people of all ages and ability on a voluntary basis - and the charity still needs more.

Volunteers help in reception, laundry and animal care, but the charity is urgently seeking anyone who enjoys meeting people to join the fundraising team to help with offsite collections.

Secret World fundraiser Debbie O’Keefe said: “Volunteering your time for any charity or organisation is good for the soul.

“We have helped so many people gain confidence by getting back into the work place which has given them the start they need to get back into paid work.

“We are now seeking friendly outgoing people who enjoy talking about the work that we do here at Secret World, there is no sales background is necessary just the ability to talk to people.”

Volunteer Greg (pictured) is one of many volunteers that help in so many areas of Secret World.

Now a retired driving instructor, Greg helps with not just fundraising but animal rescue, maintenance and ferret racing during our open weekends.
