A STUDENT from Burnham enjoyed an educational study tour to Paris which included a trip to Disneyland to learn about what it takes to make a major attraction run smoothly.
Nearly 100 business, travel and IT students from Bridgwater College made the four-day trip to the continent where they attended a series of seminars and workshops offered by Disney which focused on subjects such as international business, visitor attraction and hospitality.
Alex Panteli, 17, from Burnham, said: “We had the opportunity to go to a number of specially organised sessions, and I really enjoyed the teambuilding exercise, which focused on devising a promotional campaign for accommodation.
“It has really helped me with my marketing unit on my college course.”
