SUPPORTERS of the BAY Centre in Burnham are pictured at its annual meeting last week.
Special guests included Sedgemoor District Council chairman, Cllr Peter Downing, and Burnham and Highbridge’s Deputy Mayor Dennis Davey.
The meeting heard the BAY Centre is holding its own financially, despite incurring a slight loss in the last financial year due to high insurance costs.
The centre hosts an after-school club on Tuesdays, called The Zone, run by the Somerset Rural Youth Project, while Burnham and Highbridge Youth Town Council meets there on Monday afternoons.
A fortnightly knit and natter group for Moose International Ladies’ Circle has just launched, while a Saturday Warhammer gaming club is going well.
