A TEENAGER who was hit by a car in Brean two weeks ago is still being treated for serious injuries in hospital.
The girl was hit by a car in South Road near the entrance to Brean Leisure Park on May 27 at around 5pm.
A police spokesman told the Weekly News on Tuesday: “As of yesterday afternoon (Monday) the girl was still being treated in hospital.
“We are still appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.”
The Weekly News understands the girl was in a serious, but stable condition at the time of going to press on Tuesday.
She was air-lifted to Bristol Royal Infirmary after being hit by the car and was treated for multiple serious injuries.
Anyone who has information is asked to contact police on 101.
