FOUR sisters are inviting people to join them on a sponsored walk in memory of their mum at Clatworthy Reservoir this Saturday.
Maria Thorne, Caroline Thorne, Vanessa Harrison and Liz Loader have organised the walk to raise money for the British Lung Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
It will be held in memory of their mum Ethel Thorne, who as a child lived in the area that was flooded to create the reservoir.
Mrs Thorne died in 2012, after developing a lung disease.
Saturday's walk is also being staged in memory of the siblings' uncle, Arthur Cowling.
The five-mile walk will begin at 12pm, from the Clatworthy Reservoir viewing area car park; refreshments will be available afterwards in Clatworthy village hall.
