WESTON Hospicecare will be hosting a spectacular 'Light up the Lake' event in Burnham at the Marine Cove Gardens.
The event has been organised to encourage families and friends to celebrate the memory of loved ones and raise funding to support the work of the hospice.
Visitors can add a unique dedication message to a colourful candle bag and floating flower, and then see their flower and glowing candle unite alongside others in a beautiful display.
Jacqui Strong, Sedgemoor District Council's Community gardener, said: "Whether you choose to keep your flower or drift it out onto the water, it represents a dear friend or relative who is no longer with you.
"The light shining brightly across the water will reflect the loving memories you have shared.
"You do not need to have used the service of Weston Hospicecare to take part - it is open to all who want a special time and place to remember a loved one."
The event will be from 7pm on Wednesday, July 30.
