SIXTH formers returned to King Alfred School following their AS exams and enjoyed a few days of enrichment activities before the start of their A2 programme.
Students completed the Personal Development and Enterprise Education programme with the Royal Corps of Signals, which included problem solving and communication.
A team from Sheffield University led workshops on applying to university, writing personal statements and members of the Rotary Club were on hand to assist with employability skills.
Finally students enjoyed the annual sixth form ‘Question Time’ with panellists Tessa Munt MP, Steve Crowther (UKIP), James Heappey (Conservative parliamentary candidate), Chris Inchley (Labour parliamentary candidate) and Alex Lawrie (Greens).
