CHILDREN of all ages stretched their legs at St Joseph’s Primary School’s Sports Day.
The sun shone as the children and parents enjoyed a day of outdoor sports.
Class teacher and PE co-ordinator Mark Fisher said: “It was a fantastic day of sport and it was great to see so many children competing with a smile on their face.
“The weather was beautiful and we had far more parents supporting than we have ever had in previous years.
“Our winners this year were St John’s – The Green Team – who were awarded The Walton Cup. However ,the competition was extremely close and credit must go to all the children of St Joseph’s whose effort and determination helped to ensure that the day was a competitive success.”
