PARENTS who want their child to have a free school meal from September are being urged to register to take up the opportunity.
Parents of primary school children in Reception and Years 1 and 2 should have received a leaflet and registration form from their school.
Somerset County Council says there will be capacity for every school to offer a meal service by September.
The council says free school meals should help families save up to £437 per year per child.
