STAFF at a local garden centre had a ‘blooming’ good time when they hosted a charity tea party for Marie Curie.
The Blooming Great Tea Party campaign, hosted by the 150 store-strong Garden Centre Group, has been set up to encourage people to pop the kettle on to raise essential funds for the charity.
Rob Vohra, charity champion of Sanders Garden World, said: “Our staff chose to support Marie Curie because of the vital role they play in caring for those suffering from cancer. What better way to raise funds and awareness by sharing a good old British cup of tea on a summer day.”
