FIVE brave crew members from Burnham’s rescue hovercraft charity found Friday the 13th to be lucky for them.
The group – Dan Lyons, Adrian Cunningham, Wayne Kilgallon, Chris Bess and John Ansell – completed a skydive on Friday, June 13 from 10,000ft above Salisbury Plain to raise funds for BARB Search & Rescue.
Chris said: “We wanted to do something a bit different to raise funds and it was a fantastic experience.
“The weather conditions were perfect – we had a superb flight up to the jumping altitude and then free-fell to 5,000ft before opening the parachutes.
“It was such an exhilarating experience and we thank all those people who sponsored us.”
