STRESSED out parents in Somerset are choosing to go away on holiday without their children, says Thomson holidays.
Over the past two years Thomson has seen a 46% rise in holidays booked by worn-out parents wanting to get away without the offspring.
One in three parents said they chose to go on adult-only holidays as they needed a rest, while nearly half said they went away without their children so they could spend more time with their partners.
