A PET shop in Burnham has helped to raise £600 for breast cancer charities.

The team at The Pet Shop in Burnham High Street held a raffle to raise funds for Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Knitted Knockers.

June Fisher at the shop presented a total of £600, split between the two good causes, to the two groups last Saturday supported by town crier Alistair Murray.

Somerset Breakthrough Breast Cancer provides support to families of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer across the county while Knitted Knockers provides women with cotton knitted prosthetic breasts to support women who have undergone surgery.
