FAMILIES enjoyed a spot of fun at Apex Park in Highbridge last weekend at the launch of its free Community Games programme.
The first of the fun days was held on Saturday with other sessions to follow on an ad-hoc basis.
Organised by the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group, with help from Sedgemoor District Council, the free event included draughts, table tennis, mini-golf, croquet and boules.
The Friends were on hand to provide tips on how to play the games and discuss their work in the park.
Following grant funding, received from Highbridge Community First, new games equipment was purchased ready for the event.
