GLAMOUR and thrills were the order of the evening at an annual charity ball.
Vintage circus was the theme and guests and organisers of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer event pulled out all the stops to conjure the feel of a night at the big top.
Circus performers delighted the guests at the Batch Country House Hotel, Lympsham and there were also displays by Pole Essence, and music from the Riverbrew Band and a disco.
More than 250 people attended the ball, including Olympian Donna Fraser who was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy.
The evening was organised by Holly MacBeth, who has taken up the reins of the local fundraising group from her mum Christine Piper.
She said: “We are delighted with how it went and thanks to everyone who helped and supported the event.”
