TODAY marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Highbridge has been selected to take part in a national initiative.
Members of the Highbridge War Memorial Trust will come together at the Frank Foley Statue to mark the anniversary by lighting one of 70 candles.
They will also be reflecting on those lost to the Holocaust and honour the survivors.
All are welcome to attend the event around the Frank Foley Statue in Market Street on January 27 at 12pm.
