AN ENTERTAINING night of fundraising was held at the Oaktree Arena at Highbridge on Saturday in aid of the Great Western Air Ambulance charity.

There was live music from the JD Experience, a disco, refreshments and a raffle for people to enjoy.

Organiser Amy Harris, speaking on social media, said: “Thank you to everyone who came to support this great cause.

“It was a successful evening and we managed to raise £582.39.”

Amy said she would like to thank the Oaktree Arena, the entertainment and all the companies and individuals who donated prizes for the raffle.

Funded by charitable donations the GWAAC serves Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
