SEDGEMOOR District Council has written to the owners of the former JobCentre in Burnham in an attempt to have something done about the building’s appearance.
The building at the corner of High Street and Regent Street has been deteriorating since the JobCentre closed in 2008.
The owner now has 28 days to contact the council to address the condition of the site before a second notification will be sent.
After that the council can issue an enforcement notice to make the owner take appropriate measures to improve the building’s appearance.
