Digger crashes into high voltage power cables in Highbridge
A DIGGER collided into high voltage power cables in Highbridge last night (July 27).
Fire crews and Western Power were called to the incident on Bristol Road just before 5pm to reports that a digger had gone into some power cables.
When fire crews arrived they found two people still inside the vehicle and cordoned off the area while waiting for Western Power to arrive.
Western Power isolated the power and the two people were then released from the vehicle unharmed.
