IDEAS for the development of a piece of land which currently holds a BMX track are being sought.
Sedgemoor District Council leases an area within Apex Park, Highbridge, which the BMX Club uses.
The club wants to expand and is considering relocating to a different site.
The council is now seeking the public’s views about what to do with the track site.
Any proposal would exclude housing developments as the land will not be sold but leased on a long-term basis.
The council carried out a survey on Wednesday, August 19 in Apex car park.
Those who were unable attend can fill in a survey online about what they think the land should be used for at www.sedgemoor.gov.uk/apexbmxsurvey.
Once surveys have been returned, they will form part of a public report for Sedgemoor District Council’s executive committee.
