CLEAR skies and sunshine are set for Somerset today as the people prepare to welcome in the bank holiday weekend.
The Met Office is predicting a sunny day across the county, with the early week's rains finally moved on.
In a forecast summary on the Met Office website, they said: "It will be a largely sunny day across the region with a few showers in coastal areas to start, which may push inland later.
"It will feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine despite the southwesterly breeze."
The maximum temperature for today is due to be 19°C.
Traffic is mostly good, with an earlier accident on the M5 near North Petherton now cleared.
