There may still be leaves on the trees and roses in the garden but Burnham's winter festival is taking shape.
Organisers of Frostival are distributing a leaflet to every household and school in Burnham-on-Sea, Highbridge, surrounding villages and further afield in Somerset.
Jack Frost, Santa and Elves will be to the fore as the town prepares for the Christmas lights switch-on in November. Plus this year Frostival features an ice rink that will be open from 12 December 12, until January 2, at the end of the High Street near Coffee Corner and the Somerset & Dorset pub. Last week we spelt the event 'Frostibal' rather than the correct spelling of Frostival in a report on the town council when one councillor complained there was no Christian tone to the title - for which Jack Frost gave us an icy look.
