ONE of the biggest Schnauzers dog walks headed to the South West this weekend.
92 pooches, 87 of which were Schnauzers, and their owners met at Brean Down National Trust car park on Sunday September 27 for a walk across the beach, meeting at 10am.
Some members of the group had travelled from all over the country, including Cornwall, Chepstow, Swindon and Birmingham.
Town centre manager, Bev Milner Simonds, brought along her Jack Russell to join in with the walk.
Organiser, Janet Duke, said: "It was an amazing day and we couldn't have wished for better weather.
"There was really dedicated people there and the oldest dog was 13 and the youngest was only 13 weeks,
"I was approached by the National Trust and they want to get on board and arrange future walks with us, and the Seafest have also been in touch.
"It was a really great event."
