MOOSE International enjoyed a BBQ and entertainment day to raise money for local causes.

The event was held to donate to Moose charities, focusing on governor, Ron Fisher’s charity of the year, Music for the Memory.

A spokesperson for Moose said: "Ron’s barbecue was an outstanding success, with 73 people attending and raising a grand profit of more than £200."

Music was supplied by Moose brother, Nick Brown from Swindon, with lots of classic tracks.

Refreshments were held at the lodge 123 headquarters of Berrow Village hall, with good weather throughout the afternoon.

At the end of the event, Ron thanked the ladies catering team for their valuable support, and all those who helped to make the event a success.
